Part-Time CEO

In the early stages of his business, Brian used to do all the hands-on works until his business partners and himself realized that he should be out of the payroll. Basically, because he is too expensive for the business and they needed to put more money on scaling the business.

In  2019, they hired their first employee. Hiring someone to take over the hands-on work like roasting, Brian was able to focus more on sales and marketing while having a full-time job.

Converting coffee drinkers into coffee lovers

Ross Street Roasters Co. managed to have a high-end specialty coffee category. But because they started in a small rural community, his first customers were not big city high-earning coffee snobs but people who are used to consuming regular coffee. Ross Street Roasters Co.'s vision is to turn regular coffee drinkers into coffee lovers, making them fall in love with the aroma, taste, quality, and freshness of their products.
