For more than a decade, Madilynn Beck worked in the corporate world as a brand marketing and advertising specialist for a large corporation. She chose to venture out on her own and start her own business, where she could freely express her opinions and do things that were best for people and clients, rather than being dictated by the corporate rules and norms.

As of today, Madilynn Beck is the Founder and CEO of Fountful, a licensed clinical therapist, and a business owner of two.

In this episode, Madilynn discusses how she grew her business by reaching out to potential customers using digital marketing and SEO, and her struggles in starting a business, especially the founder syndrome.

The Founder Syndrome

While most of us haven't heard of the founder syndrome, our guest who has personally experienced the Founder Syndrome and as someone who recognizes the importance of mental health awareness, explains to us what this syndrome is and how it manifests itself to the people's minds.

The founders' syndrome is different from the typical Imposter syndrome where a person is doing something and doubting themselves, thinking that they are not good enough to perform what they are doing. The founders' syndrome is the fear that your work and ideas will be ruined if touched by someone else.

Pouring Delegation To Your Buckets

Being a wife, mother, licensed clinical therapist, and business owner of two sure is a lot of buckets to fill. Not to mention the fact that she had Founder's Syndrome.

Madilynn was able to force herself to have a team of experts that can help her feel great and not just stay okay with her business.

As a result of allowing experts to fill the gaps in her business, Madilynn had more time to devote to her personal and professional life, while remaining confident in the growth of her firm.
